Wanderers v Old Wesley Annual Golf Match Result.

Wanderers came out worthy winners against Old Wesley on this occasion by a solid margin of 15 points.

Wesley have had the upper hand for the last few years so this was a welcome return to form by Wanderers.

A most enjoyable match was followed by an excellent dinner and a few light refreshments.

As is the tradtion the assembled troops were asked to contrbute to a chosen charity which is normally selcted by the winning Captain . However on this occassion the nomination was handed over by Bob Wynne to Eddie Fogarty President of Old Wesley'.Eddie nominated the Blackrock Hospice in recognition of their outstanding care remembering in particular the recent passing of Wendy Porter (nee Priestman.)

A sum of € 750 was raised and our thanks to all those who attended for their generosity.
