To all Wanderers Members,
 
On the 30th Jan 2010, we are having a charity day for Breast Cancer Ireland. We play Co. Carlow in the AIL that day at Merrion Rd. The whole theme of the day is pink.
The charity theme will be incorporated into the pre-match lunch right through to a Pink Party that evening. Early ideas at this stage is to collect donations throughout the day and to raffle off a Pink Wanderers Jersey commemorating the day signed by the Leinster Rugby Team amongst loads of other top prizes.
 
We want to get Pink Wanderers Jerseys made up for this day. Anyone can get one, players (all teams), management, supporters, family etc.  And the hope is that the team can wear the Pink Jersey for the match vs Carlow.
 
The cost of the jersey will be 100 euro. Produced by Kukri, this covers the cost of the Jersey (approx 45 euro) with the balance going to the cause. The more jerseys we can get, the more we can donate. So wives, girlfriends, family can all get their orders in and get a cool piece of memorabilia.
 
The jersey will come with a number of your choice, surname on the back, Wanderers crest, date and something like 'Breast Cancer Ireland' embroided also.
 
We're hoping to get the word out on Radio Stations and have 'Against the Head' cover the match.
 
If we are to go ahead with these jerseys, we have to get feedback from those interested now and start getting the order together as we will need to place the order about 10 weeks (order must be submitted by 12 Nov 09) prior to the day. We will get back to you regarding sizes etc...
 
We don't have everyone's email in the club so we hope to get the word out via text, facebook and the wanderers website also.
