2007/2008

Above are some of the Wanderers Junior Rugby Squad Players for the 2007/2008 Season.


Following on from a enjoyable 2006/2007 season of Junior rugby, fielding both J3 and J4 teams, the hard work continues this year.

This year sees our “A” side competing at J2, with our “B” side competing in the J4 League.

The aim of the Squad for this season is to continue to improve on last years performances, and to continue to enjoy themselves on and off the field.

Last year was a enjoyable year for Junior rugby both on and off the pitch. Training on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights, both new and old players in the squad developed a terrific team spirit and organised and hosted many fundraising events for the club throughout the year. After a successful Junior Tour to Boston in May, the players have been enthusiastic about the coming season since their return to training in August, and the mood amongst the squad is high.

The existing squad have bolstered by a number of new players who all look as if they can contribute to the squad over the season.

The coaches for the coming season are Dominic Maxwell, Richard Springer, Dominic Kearney , and managed by Joe McDermott and Ralph Ullehman.
