Wanderers FC U20's Tour to Tolouse.

Wanderers FC U20’s Toulouse Tour 2007.

This Tour to Toulouse will be a great experience for all involved and we will all come back with memories to cherish from the fun times we have in France.
It shouldn’t have to be said more than once that as a group we are representing Wanderers FC and we have set ourselves a high standard while we are away. This means respecting the people we encounter and their property and representing Wanderers in a positive manner.
This doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time but we have to think about the implications of our behavior while on Tour or be ready for the consequences.
With 24 players and 4 management it is a large group to organize so it will be important that we make it easy by sticking to the schedule below as you will be showing a huge disrespect to the group if you don’t!
Yes we have some early departure times on the Wednesday and Sunday morning and yes will be paying for some of the activities/meals ourselves but at the end of the day we are getting an amazing tour for so lets enjoy.

Day 1 –Wed 11th April

Meet at Airport at 5am we must be no later than this because we have to check in together.
• You have to either get dropped of or take the Airbus that departs from the central stops every 20mins from 4am. Brian will give you more of those details at training but you must give yourself at least 40 mins to get to the AIRPORT.
• Another option is to car pool and park in the long term parking at the Airport for 5-8 euro a day.
• Departing at 7am on flight EI 532.
• Arriving at Toulouse Airport 10am French time (We lose 1 hour in flight)
• We travel to the Village of Lavaur and settle ourselves into IBIS Hotel.

We will have lunch then R&R in the afternoon to catch up on the sleep we didn’t have the night before.

Pre match preparation will start at 5pm for our game vs. LAVAUR u20s.
7.30PM- KICK-OFF!!!!!

Post match dinner and celebrations at the Rugby Club.






Day 2: Thurs 12th April

Around midday we will be getting a taste of the local wines when we visit Albi and Gaillac for a wine tour. (Estimated 10 euro each)
Post Wine Tour we will see what options we have and choose one as a team.

Day 3: Fri 13th April

Easy day a light training run & free time then attend a 1st Division match in the evening between ALBI and STADE FRANCAIS. (Personal cost of 12 euros each)

Day 4: Sat 14th April

Match time to be confirmed but some team activities will be organized to keep us stimulated.

Day 5: Sun 15th April

• Leave Hotel for Airport at 7.00am
• Depart 10.40am on flight EI 533
• Arrive in Dublin 1.40pm. (Irish Time)

KIT/CLOTHING NEEDED

Wanderers Tracksuit, Polo, T-Shirt, Bag.
You will also be packing your playing jersey, shorts and socks so we can cut down on excess baggage costs.
Playing kit mouthgaurds, headgear and you must clean your boots for the flight!

Casual/dress gears for down and going out time ;+)

PERSONAL BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE=20 KGS (Excess will be at the cost of the individual)

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICAPATE IN THE TOUR BRING YOU PASSPORT!!!!!!!!!!
