Wanderers U-13/14s 2008/2009


Wanderers U-13/14s training for the coming season has started and is on in Merrion Road at 11.00 sharp each Sunday.

The emphasis is firmly on players having fun, learning the game of rugby and developing new skills, and we fully encourage parents to come along and support the players at home and away games.

We fully understand the demands on young players with family and other sporting commitments, be it GAA, Soccer, Swimming etc so this is why we only train/play on Sunday mornings.

All new players are most welcome to come down and join .

If you are interested just drop down to the club on Sundays and ask for any of the Coaches - Jim Doddy(086-0619379) Paddy Kenny (087-3594063) Andy Behan(087-2349383) or Dom Maxwell(086-1974153).

The clubhouse is open during training each Sunday for parents to get coffee , refreshments etc etc.

Season Details


The squad will be competing in Mini Leagues, Blitzes, and Friendlies throughout the season and have been nominated by the Club to take part in a Training camp in France next Easter.

In this camp the players will interact with teams from other clubs and countries, playing against each other and local opposition. Full details are available from the coaching staff.

First Match of the season

The first friendly game of the season is this Sunday in Merrion Road v Suttonians, all players to meet in Merrion Road at 11.00.
