The Last Tennant Cup at the Old Dunlaoghaire.
09/05/2007
Congratulations to Mick Hilary for winning the Tennant Cup. Mick had a great round and his 3 for five came into effect on more than one occasion.
In Second place Ned Mc Quaid and not for the first time. He will now not obtain his life long ambition to win the Tennant Cup in his own back yard DLGC.
Brendan Mc Kenna cant be kept out of the Prizes and was a worthy third imagine if he had not got a bad back.
Tommey Buckley fresh from his hole in one in Killiney carried on the good play and was the winner of the front nine.
Gary Daly had a good back nine and won with 20 points .Bob crying that he signed for 20 and was beaten even though he had 21 (always check your own card)
Thanks to Ned for organising a great day the last Tennant to be held in the old Royal Sallynoggin.
The cource was in great shape and the Sun shone all day long.
It is a shame to see such a great cource going to the developers.
Bob Wynne , Kevin Brophy and Ian Burns were seen with a measuring wheel marking out what looked like a rugby Pitch on the eight fairway .What can this mean?
