RACE NIGHT
Looking for a night out with a bit of a difference ……
Wanderer J3’s are running a race night on Fri 17th November as part of ongoing fundraising.
How does it Work?
A race night involves all the drama and craic of a race meeting but you get to enjoy it inside beside a bar – away from the rain and the mud.
On the night, 10 races are run. These are races on video – selected at random from a library by a member of the audience – and projected on to the big screen.
How do I make money?
There are several ways to make money out of the race night. Prior to the night itself you can buy a horse, jockey or trainer. For this you get to name the horse/jockey/trainer. This will be printed in the race card on the night. In addition, if your horse wins, then you receive a cash prize. If you lose you’ll be entered in a draw for a super consolation prize.
To make it even better there will be a Tote on the night where you can bet on each race – if your horse wins you’ll make money. If your horse loses you’re entered in another draw for a prize. You can’t go wrong
Sound Interesting – How Much?
The prices to sponsor a horse/jockey/trainer are below. Remember the more you sponsor the more money you’ll win
Sponsor Horse €50 - Cash Prize €150
Sponsor Jockey €20 - Cash Prize €50
Sponsor Trainer €10 - Cash prize €25
Sounds Good – Anything else I need to know?
Of course, the night is being run in the Wanderers Clubhouse, Merrion Road on Fri 17th Nov. First race is at 8.30 pm. Pints on the night will be €3. It will be a great night so tell all your friends.
