Interview between Bob Wynne and Ned Mc Quaid.
Bob: Congratulations Ned . How does it feel to have achieved one of your main ambitions?
Ned: Its great Bob i was beginning to think it would never happen. I know you have had the honour yourself.
Bob:Yes indeed i have . In fact this is the first Tennant Cup i have missed in 30 years.
Ned: Well thats what you get for swanning off to China.
Bob: That was in October Ned the Tennant was always played in Dunlaoghaire in June why the change of venue and time.
Ned: The venue was changed from Dunlaoghaire to Foxrock because i felt to be fair to the shorter hitters the new Dunlaoghaire cource might be a bit hard.
Bob: Fair comment Ned how is your own long game?
Ned: The usual 180yds straight down the middle. handy enough for Foxrock.
Bob: Why the Change from June to October i believe a good few of the keen golfers were away in fact most of them.
Ned: You are not suggesting only the hackers were in Foxrock shur McKenna the bandit was there.
Bob: And how is Brendans bad back by the way.
Ned: Thats a bit unfair.
Bob: Will we be holding the Tennant in the summer next year on a ful 18 hole cource.
Ned: Now i have my name on it we can play it anywhere at any time.
Bob: Well done Ned you always were a great organiser.
Bob: Seriousley Ned all in Jest thanks for all the great organising and looking forward to next year to see you defend the Trophy.
