All our thanks to Ned Mc Quaid (a little help from Bob) for another great trip to Arklow GolfClub.
A Bus from Merrion left promptly with a pit stop at Byrne's of Galloping Green making sure everybody arrived safely and on time for a hearty breckfast in Arklow.
A warm sunny day with an odd shower and a stiff breez ensured that the links would be a good test of golf even for the skill levels of the Crowbars.
Unfortunately the defending champion and Bare Holder Brendan Mc Kenna was unable to attend to defend his title .
Apart from Brendan all the top guns were in attendance and winning was not going to be easy.

A cracking good Steak Dinner and for those on the Bus some nice safe pints of Guinness before the short journey back to the Galloping Green where all the hard look stories of the day were well enhanced with some more refreshment.
