Ronnie Dawson inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame
Many congratulations to Ronnie Dawson on his induction into the IRB Hall of Fame at the Aviva Stadium last Monday.
Apart from his huge contribution to Club, Country and World Rugby as an administrator, as a player, Ronnie captained Wanderers and Ireland. In 1959 he led the British and Irish Lions on their tour of Canada, Australia and New Zealand, leading the Lions in six tests a record only matched by Martin Johnson, and went on to serve the tourists as both a coach and selector.
